Exhales....It's definitely been a while.
I thought a lot about whether ever posting again. From the very start of this journey, I let everyone know that at times life may take precendence and it might pull me away from the show and blog and perhaps even cease operations. But I also said I would keep the lines of communication open to anything that happened.
A lot has happened that you can say really "knocked me down"....a few health issues that were long overdue in addressing which I now am confronting. A piece of advice guys and girls, when there is something wrong medically, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. You can only put things off for so long. I got very lucky this time and I have learned to value life more. It will be a long road to recovery, medically and personally, but the only direction at this point I move is forward.
Another event took place that I can say that's still hurting...
SMOKEY, "THE LITTLE GUY" 2000? - 2010
Smokey, the "Executive Producer" of The Protoculture Times passed away this Summer and to get up in front of that microphone NOT say "Smokey, the Little Guy presents!".......well.....I hope you understand if I just didn't feel up to it.
First, my sincerest apologies to the greatest listeners in the world in disappearing the way that I did. My relationship with you all has meant the world to me, because the dream that I have lived for about a year, I was able to share it with all of you. I have been blessed to have met people from around the world and form a common bond over this 85 episode animated series. And my thanks to all of you who have emailed or messaged trying to find out what was going on. If I didn't respond, again I'm sorry.
I could end things right here and say thanks for the memories.................as I have always said on the show, I wasn't planning on doing this forever.
But then I thought.....
To leave the dream unfulfilled?.........hmmmm?......after all the episodes?.....all the polls?.....all the readings?.....all the interviews?......all the tournaments??????
NOT YET.
