On this special Tournament Edition of The Protoculture Times AnniversaryCast we will be talking about our 3rd Round of what has become a worldwide happening...The Robotech 25th Anniversary Character Clash Tournament! This round has been especially tough because you have some classic characters going up against each other and sadly some will be saying goodbye.........such is the nature of the Tournament beast!
The other tough part has been Blogger itself....you have probably seen my past posts stressing out over the fact that the polls supllied by them are NIT registering the votes in a timely manner. But, I did find a solution and I thank the folks at Micropoll.com for their assistance.
Now if you follow this link http://robotech-character-clash.blogspot.com/2010/07/we-will-not-be-deterred.html you will be able to vote on all of Round 3 matchups. Now for this round...you can STILL VOTE on the right hand side, if it will let you....I will tally ALL the votes by the the time the polls end. I appreciate everyone's patience and encouragement and WE WILL NOT BE DETERRED FROM HAVING FUN!
It's getting down to crunch time and people are getting excited to see who will be our participants for the Quarter Finals.......and I STILL believe there is a chance for a surprise on who gets crowned champion.....
But it's your votes that decide it...because it's your tournament!!!!!!
On this AnniversaryCast also, we will be talking about the results to our latest Protoculture Times Poll Questions....some very interesting results on one of the polls......seems there are people where the jury is still out on the current state of the franchise......
We'll be talking about what is coming up for the main show......AND YES it's about The Sentinels....and more!

I'll also have a few words about the recent Robotech panel that occurred at Anime Expo in California....
It also seems that the Robotech franchise is notorious for "wild speculation" on any piece of news that is given. Especially when it comes to the Live Action Movie......Well I am going to "speculate" a little bit myself.....just remember.....it's just one fan's opinion....and I do get "RANDOM"
If I may get personal for a moment.....
With a lot my focus being on the Character Clash Tournament and also putting time to personal matters.....I wanted to apologize for the delay of a new episode....especially since it is my 25th and the beginning of our Sentinels Journey. There are certain battles in life that require your attention because if you neglect them.....it could prove fatal in the long run. Now, I am fine....but there have been things that needed me more than Robotech for the last few weeks...not that my heart was far from it as I absolutely love doing the show...and the Character Tournament has been nothing short of spectacular! As of this moment...........I'M READY TO KEEP PARTYING!!!! There are some real nice surprises in store on upcoming episodes and YES, that includes the Sentinels and it will be an honor to share them with......the GREATEST LISTENERS IN THE WORLD! (for me at least!)
I don't like to get mushy.......but I feel I have gained a very large extended family around the world! It's one of the happiest feelings a person can have and even more so because.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................
