A LIVE SHOW update! I WANT to do it, now it's a question of HOW to do it!

THE ROBOTECH FILES - Based on the last episode, I'm not going to go over the entire Original 85 episodes again. I did that for 10 episodes and the last Robotech Files was just too long! Going forward, I'll read selected excerpts covering moments from the books, novel only passages and of course the epigraphs! We conclude on this episode the Macross Saga with novels #5 and #6, Force of Arms and Doomsday. Read to you by amateur "thespian" ....JT! ...= P

 

THE PROTOCULTURE TIMES INTERVIEW - It is my extreme pleasure to interview the author of the fan fiction work Atlantech, Lynn Williams! She is a dear friend and the person who first gave this show a speace on where to advertise! Now this interview is a bit different as we did it through email so I'll be reading both the questions and answers. (and NO WAY ON HELL DID I TRY TO IMITATE LYNN'S VOICE...I have a tough time already imitating my own!  LOL!) She talks about Atlantech, her approach to writing and drawing and definitley exercises her right to opinionate on the current state of the Robotech franchise!

  1. JT, you have way too much pent up anger in your podcasts. Mav is not bad at all, and your responses to him is making you look more like the fool every time I listen. He helped to bring Robotech to the Space channel up here in Canada. Many canadians respect him for that. Cut him some slack, he knows what he's talking about.

  4. Thinking about it...what I REALLY want from Harmony Gold.... just some good old honesty.

    Just say "ya, we know its been a pretty big gap from Shadow Chronicles to today, and we know that it was a reboot of the franchise insofar that it was new animation and started another chapter of the story, so we really should of continued that story and went with that momentum at a faster pace. Unfortunately for these reasons (fill in the blank), that didnt happen. We have said that the LAM was the biggest set back, but really, we just are not equipped to handle two productions at once, even if we are only handing off source material to Warner Brothers. And ya, we could have invested the money we got from WB into adding new staff or Shadow Rising,, but we ended up investing the cash in our real estate stuff and buying a 6 foot tall Valkyrie for the lobby."

    Now I know that will never happen in a MILLION years... because the company line is.. "trust us, and we aint gonna tell you shit, and Warner Brothers owns our balls" but ya know, a man can dream!

  5. Did you really check my IP, lol you have me confused with someone else bud. Lol. I'm not Mav, he's probably Canadian like I am. Maybe that's where your confusion lies. Mav is not the only Robotech fan in Canada bud.
